Bill O'Reilly Blog

I think what Bill O'Reilly is trying to say is that children these days have to be properly educated and have to work hard in order not to be poor which he says is "powerless". I agree that children have to be educated and have to try their best but I do not agree with what he says about poor people. They are not powerless and it was not their fault at all! They do need help and it was FEMA's job to do that. Just because he is rich and safe doesn't mean we have the chance to be. His narrowminded idea of what poverty is and how to prevent it is ridiculous.

A Bit More About Myself

My goals for after high school are to apply to many 4-year universities and hopefully get accepted into one of my choice. In order to achieve these goals, I have to pass all of my AP clases in high school and be determined to go to college. My mom is a very positive influence in my life. She has taught me to never give and always do my best in whatever I participate in. Her character traits include honesty, perceverance, loyalty, trust, kindness, and much more. If anyone talked about me, I would like them to say that I am an intelligent, caring, thoughtful, young man that will acheive in anything I put my heart to.

My Life

I was born in Los Angeles in White Memorial Hospital on August 23, 1991. I live with my Dad (Roger), Mom (Rosa), an older brother (Amer), a younger sister (Jasmin), a cat named Smokey, and a python named Medusa. My responsibilities at home are to vaccume the carpet, wash the dishes, and tidy up my room. In middle school, I was involved in soccer, softball, football, music, and art. My family helped shape who I am today.
